The purpose of my craft is to improve the function and beauty of a space.

My Work

My greatest goal as a woodworker is to create pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical for daily life. Furniture like bookshelves, coat room benches, or bathroom cabinets can be more than mundane, utilitarian items—they can enhance our spaces, serving their purpose while also adding beauty to our lives.

The purpose of my craft is to elevate everyday spaces, combining function with artistry.

I am currently accepting commissions for cabinet projects with custom needs.

About Me

Born and raised in the Methow Valley, I grew up surrounded by professional artists and craftspeople who inspired my creative journey. After graduating from Liberty Bell, I went on to study Studio Art at Western Washington University, focusing on illustration and realism, which sharpened my attention to detail and cultivated my passion for design and aesthetics.

Following graduation, my first mentor, Mary Beth Tannehill, sparked my passion for working with wood and instilled in me a deep respect for craftsmanship.

In 2023, I took my craft to the next level, graduating from the intensive program at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. Since then, I’ve been honored to apprentice under master woodworker Rick Swanson here in the Methow Valley, where I continue to refine my skills and learn from one of the best.

Every piece I create reflects my love for custom woodwork and my commitment to marrying functionality with beauty. For me, it’s all about crafting pieces that tell a story and bring joy to the spaces they inhabit.
